Americans Traveling Internationally

Paula Froelich’s MSN.com article about international travel plans shows Americans are getting their passports – and using them. The number of Americans applying for passports is expected to rise for the third consecutive year. Our fellow countrymen are expanding their horizons internationally.

Global luxury travel network Virtuoso® published a study that luxury travelers—those who spend over $3,000 a trip—are setting their sights for summer travel on emerging destinations all over the world. Their study indicates European countries continue to be most popular, while the fastest-growing locales point to a desire for culturally immersive experiences. History, culture, cuisine and abundant luxury offerings make Europe a preferred option for upscale travelers.

 

For Summer 2019 the most popular foreign destinations:
