Federal budget proposal includes new air fees

Travel Weekly reports that the current budget proposal from President Barack Obama increases funding to improve U.S. airspace and includes money for security expenses in the transportation system. However, the proposal has sparked an outcry because funding for security measures will be raised by boosting airline passenger fees and establishing new direct-user fees.
