“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

Virtual Tours

Okay, I admit it. My wanderlust is acting up. The thought of not traveling over the next several weeks—maybe even months—is starting to get to me a bit. It’s hard to think about planning even my family vacation, not knowing if these pandemic restrictions will be lifted in time for us to go.

That’s why I was glad to find these virtual tours, compliments of The Guardian. Some are of places I remember fondly, like the Eiffel Tower and the Coliseum. Others are places I plan to visit someday, like Stonehenge and The Pyramids. Others will likely just remain dreams, like Machu Picchu and Angkor Wat. But all are truly beautiful to look out and, for a little while, took me out of my home base.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I did and that they can help you fly away for a short time. And if they inspire you to go see some of them in person… Well, that’s what Travel Haven is here for.
